The Brief
Couldn’t be simpler!
I’m launching a mobile dog grooming company and need visuals for the side of the van, something eye catching, easy to understand the concept (as its relatively new here), and most importantly feature the love of my life… PEANUT!
A illustrated version of his image (perhaps cartoon like) is mandatory in the main logo.
His beautiful face can be found as my avatar on this website and below:

I will also want my other 5 dogs featured over the remainder of the van so the winner will need to be willing to please draw the other dogs as well in the background for the vehicle artwork.
It would be interesting to maybe feature some soap suds around the logo or perhaps thats a little elementary?..not sure.. Im not a designer!
The name of the company “Champooch” is a play on the word Shampoo + Pooch but for a Spanish audience, so its important to try get that across as the Spanish wont really understand the “pooch” part, and British might get a little confused with the ’Champ" part….but I think with the right logo and images depicting what is happening in the van, this can be conveyed.
Bright colours will be a great way to attract attention as the van will be the main mode of marketing and advertising. I am happy to consider any colour logo, any colour background!
Target Audience
High end dog owners and lovers! Working in exclusive, private gated communities so the design/image needs to be sophisticated as well as fun!
Logo Requirements
Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.

Digger:
Added Peanut’s photo to the brief for you @Lola. Designers for a logo we’ll need a vector illustration that captures Peanut in some artistic way.

hi – I assume the fee will be granted to the winner of this comp – and then drawing the other dogs will be extra paid work?

Which dog breed is it
2017-09-14 18:28:26 UTCLola:
Hi @EstweenOnFire… He is cross (we think) of a Chihuahua and a Shitzu… Please note I dont expect his image to be hand drawn, just maybe converted into a digital character, I believe there are a few apps for this :) However if somone does draw something amazing that would be awesome! I just want his face as clear as possible… he is getting old and just had a heartattack so this is the perfect way to remember him forever! Thank you…
Hi @Jams
Well it would depend if the images end up being hand drawn or an application is used to covert the image to a different format and look… Ive seen the apps and they are easy to use, (I just don’t know how to use them) bu if someone were to draw something I fall inlove with then of course Im willing to discuss extra payment for the remaining dogs!
Thank you :)

@lola for a logo it’s important that the art is a vector rather than a bitmap (image) for reproduction purposes.

@Digger… I spoke with David about this and also I believe you intervened in the competition to provide such an image… what have I misunderstood?

@Lola Digger = David. See my Profile. :)
I’ve removed comments from Elaes (and Lola’s response) as they were not helpful and inappropriate to this competition.
@designers No matter how you go about creating your dog art, please ensure the final result is vector art that has optimum usability going forward (limited colours, etc). The style you use should be adaptable enough to be used later for other dog breeds.
…and perhaps we could try some different poses or treatments :)
